E2 crates are the industry standard plastic container used by Meat and Poultry firms throughout Europe. Due to the E2 tray’s precise tare weight of 2.0Kg, with no variation in weight tolerance, it makes calculating the weight of its contents simple, making it perfect for meat processors and cutting plants. Commonly E2 containers are used in conjunction with GS1 H1 Pallets (which weigh precisely 18Kg) so the whole pallet can be weighed quickly and easily to determine how much-finished product is shipped on the pallet.

Made from virgin HDPE, the E2 crate is suitable for demanding blast freezing applications, and at the end of its service life can be easily recycled.
