Plastic Food Pallets

INKA’s hygiene pallets tend to be produced using virgin polymer material. Virgin plastic is traceable and, therefore, can be certified ‘food contact approved’ with no risk of having any contaminants. This is crucial for clean production areas where products intended for human consumption are being produced. As a result, you will often see our production pallets used internally if you visit food or pharmaceutical factories. Colour Coding: Pharmaceutical Pallets to Food-Grade Pallets

For example, you could choose a yellow colour for use with nuts and allergens and blue for other products. Pharmaceutical factories also tend to choose medical pallets for use in cleanrooms due to their hygienic, easy-clean properties.

The hygiene pallets are manufactured from food-approved virgin HDPE (high-density polyethylene) plastic. The smooth finish eliminates the risk of dirt and bacteria getting trapped in undetected crevices, and the pallets can be steam-cleaned or jet-washed quickly and efficiently.

Sizing and Loading

The INKA hygiene pallet range is available in two key sizes – 800 x 1200 mm or 1000 x 1200 mm. Both offer incredible durability with a maximum dynamic load of 1500 kg and a maximum status load of 7500 kg.

This range also benefits from being very heavy-duty. Plastic hygiene pallets are robust and can take huge loads, even in open beam racking.  Hygiene pallets are built to last many years in harsh environments, presenting fantastic value for money.
